Pediatricians are calling for a common baby toy to be banned because of the amount of reported injuries

Despite warnings, research reveals that baby walkers are still sending children to the emergency department for preventable injuries.
The increased mobility that baby walkers allow can expose children to dangerous and unsupervised situations.
On top of these risk-factors, research suggests these toys may also be detrimental to a child's cognitive development.
No matter how much bad press it gets, the baby walker is still very much alive and kicking.
