Houston Airports Supporting The Fight Against Human Trafficking On Wear Blue Day

The Houston Airport System and its airline partners are teaming with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 in wearing blue to raise awareness on National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.
Staff at both George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport will wear blue shirts and other blue apparel on Jan. 11 to show support for the DHS Blue Campaign against human trafficking.

U.S. shutdown shuts Miami International Airport's terminal early for 3 days

SANspotter review of the Miami International Airport Hotel
A shortage of Transportation Security Administration screeners has forced Miami International Airport to close its terminal early for three days. The security checkpoints in terminal G will be closed after 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Greg Chin airport spokesman said that “Due to an increased number of TSA screeners not reporting to work, we have decided to take this precautionary step and relocate about 12 flights to adjoining concourses in the afternoons,”
If the shutdown continues, it might not be safe to fly.
