Why Twitter should let verified health experts report COVID-19 misinformation on the platform, according to 3 physicians

Twitter doesn't currently allow users, even verified health experts, to report on false information spread on the app about COVID-19.

Twitter recently placed a warning label atop a tweet by President Trump in which he falsely claimed it to be less deadly than the seasonal flu, saying the tweet violated Twitter's rules.
Still, Twitter currently offers no way for users to report information as false or violatory - finding and labeling misinformation seems to depend on Twitter conducting an internal review.

Mainland China reports 13 new COVID-19 cases vs 13 a day earlier

China reported 13 new coronavirus cases in the mainland for Oct. 17, the same as a day earlier, the health commission said on Sunday. All of the new infections were imported, according to a statement by the National Health Commission. China reported 34 new asymptomatic patients, compared with 11 a day earlier. As of Saturday, mainland China had 85,672 confirmed coronavirus cases, the health authority said. The COVID-19 death toll stands at 4,634.
