For $1.2 bil, Raffles Infrastructure to set up tourist railway in China!

Raffles Infrastructure Holdings, the company previously known as China Fibretech, is developing a 70kms tourist railway with a contract value of RMB6 billion .
To be finished in four stages, Phase 1, which stretches from 2018 to 2020, will be for the building of the railway between the Tourist Centre of Songshan to Shaolin Temple Tourist Area; Phase 2 from 2020 to 2022 will be for the finishing point of the building of railway between the tourist centre to the Study Courtyard of Songshan and Zhongyue Temple. 2.1 million Russian tourists expected to visit GCC in 2023

The number of Russian visitors to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries has increased from 2013 to 2018.
There were 933,000 Russian visitors to GCC in 2018 and this number is expected to reach 2.1 million in 2023.
GCC countries have taken several efforts to attract Russian visitors. UAE has increased flight routes to Russian destinations and provides visa on arrival to Russian tourists. Oman has relaxed visa regulations for the Russian tourists. Russian tourists who have valid UK, US, EU, Canada or Australian visa can obtain a non-sponsored tourist visa to Oman.
