Brazil OECD Tourism Committee meeting strategy discussed in Paris

The Deputy Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism in Brazil, Higino Vieira, attended a working meeting at the Brazilian Embassy in Paris, France recently.
The purpose of the meeting was to align the strategy of participation in the Tourism Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and to address relevant issues, such as the partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and MTur to change Brazil's status as an observer to full member of the Organization.

Brazil grabs spotlight at largest tourism fair in Argentina

The door of the FIT America Latina was opened to public on October 5th, 2019 in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. More than 50 countries participated in the fair. The goal is to promote tourism and demonstrate the economic potential of the sector in the world.
With its own booths from more than ten tourist destinations, Brazil participated in the fair. The mission is, in addition to showing the potential and cultural diversity, to further expand the tourist flow from Argentina, the main emitter of foreign visitors to the country.

Brazil Tourism Minister Marcelo Álvaro Antônio met Argentina's Tourism Minister Gustavo Santos to discuss integrated actions between the two countries, such as the mutual recognition of Chinese visas, Mercosur as well as deregulation and greater agility in the flow of tourists across borders.
