Mongolia plans to host one million tourists in 2020

According to an ambitious plan Mongolia has set a goal of hosting a million foreign tourists and earning one billion U.S. dollars in 2020, said the environment and tourism minister of the nation on Wednesday.
“We have to increase the number of tourists by 30 percent per year in the coming years to reach this goal,” Namsrai Tserenbat said.
“We are working to develop tourism products, better services and tourism safety plans,” the minister said.

Mongolia expects 1 billion USD earning from tourism in 2020

Mongolia's environment and tourism minister stated that the country aims at hosting one million foreign tourists and earning one billion U.S. dollars in 2020.
Namsrai Tserenbat wants to increase the number of tourists by 30 percent per year in the coming years to reach this goal. The tourism products will be developed along with better services and tourism safety plans.
In 2017, Mongolia had received 470,000 overseas tourists which was 16 per cent more year on year. It generated an earning of more than 400 million dollars which was 20 percent more than last year.
