Azerbaijan to hold 3 roadshows to draw more Indian tourists despite 80% rise

According to the World Travel and Tourism Council 2018 Impact Report, the new initiatives taken by the Azerbaijan Government are expected to improve its ranking among countries with a high tourism contribution towards national GDP.
Meanwhile, tourism from India to Azerbaijan increased by 80 per cent in 2019. With a direct flight from Delhi and a simplified electronic visa procedure for Indian passport holders, Indian travellers have been attracted to Azerbaijan.

The South African government is all set to draw more Chinese visitors

On Monday, the tourism marketing arm of the South African government, the South African Tourism, introduced a cultural and tourism cooperation initiative to draw 10,000 tourists from east Zhejiang Province of China in the next five years.
The scheme was introduced in Pretoria where a team from Zhejiang met government and tourism operators from various sections of Africa.
