In the last three financial years, the Government has had calculated plans to endorse tourism.
This was shown in the budget allocations committed to marketing Uganda, at present which stands at Shs17b up from a paltry Shs1.1b.
As anticipated Matia Kasaija, the Finance minister will this afternoon make purposeful increments to Uganda Tourism Board to market Uganda.
In that regard, exact Shs30b has been allocated.
Though, in the midst of all this increased allocations, tourism revenues has stagnated at $1.4b with a low visitors' number of nearly 1.4 million.
