ATEC: Welcome news as WA invests in international tourism marketing

ATEC has today welcomed the West Australian Government's announcement of an additional $9m investment of new marketing money to boost international visitation to the State.
“This money will allow Tourism WA to take on strong and tactical marketing campaigns that will engage and convert international visitors to the state,” Australian Tourism Export Council Managing Director, Peter Shelley said today.

WA Tourism welcomes funding boost

Tourism Council WA today greeted an announcement made by Premier Mark McGowan of an additional $12 million funding to boost up the tourism industry of WA.
This funding injection will have an instant impact on getting bums-on-seats as it targets marketing campaigns to commence shortly.
“This additional funding will provide an immediate boost to visitor numbers, tourist dollars and local jobs,” Tourism Council WA CEO Evan Hall said.
