Australia eliminates Rubella which has triggered travel warning in Japan

World Health Organization has announced that Australia has eliminated Rubella or German measles. It has already been eradicated in the Americas and across much of Europe.
Australia's health minister considers it a ‘highly significant public health accomplishment,' According to him, the eradication of Rubella signals that Australia's immunization program is a success.
A few days back the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention warned travellers to Japan, especially the pregnant women about an outbreak of Rubella.
