AARP recently released a report summarising 2019 Boomer travel trends. As per the report, the seniors are expected to take 4-5 leisure trips this year, spending over U.S. dollars 6,600. This investment is mostly going to be in cruises. The majority are travelling with a smartphone, seeking out authentic experiences. They are more interested in AirBnB than hotels.
AARP is a United States-based interest group whose stated mission is ‘to empower people to choose how they live as they age.'
