Kerala embarks upon training ‘tourism police'

The government of the Indian state of Kerala has launched an intensive training programme for police personnel who are deployed in tourism destinations.
Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran inaugurated the first workshop for tourism police at the Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies on Monday.
