Zimbabwe witnesses 4% increase in tourist arrivals last year

Zimbabwe saw tourist arrivals increase to 4% in the nine months to September 2018 to 1.8 million from 1.7 million in the same period the previous year.
There was also a 6% increase in hotel occupancies across the country.
The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority head of corporate affairs Godfrey Koti said that the organization is working closely with its Tourism Minister for developing products suitable for diverse markets.

Saudi carrier Flynas carried 6.6 million passengers in 2018

The low-cost Saudi carrier Flynas's chief executive officer, Mr Bander Al-Mohanna's revealed that Flynas carried around 6.6 million passengers on 60,000 domestic and international flights during 2018. He attributed the hike in the number of passengers to the increasing number of flights and destinations, in line with the airline's expansion plans.
Al-Mohanna said the growth in passenger numbers is an extension of Flynas's previous successes and expansion plans in the domestic and international market. The airline launched 11 new destinations in 2018.
