Severe flooding in China causes travel disruption, economic loss of $3.87 billion

China is facing heavy rain and thunderstorm, massive floods along major rivers that has destroyed bridges, blocked roads and railways. Thousands of residents were evacuated and the weather authorities are forecasting more downpours throughout the country.
There will be floods and landslides in the southwestern province of Sichuan and as per the state television 241 rivers in 24 provinces were flooded in the last few days. It has led to an economic loss of 25.9 billion yuan .
