A recent report has said that the global wellness industry grew 12.8% in the last two years, from a $3.7 trillion market in 2015 to $4.2 trillion in 2017. The report says that wellness remains one of the world's biggest and fast-growing industries.

A recent report has said that the global wellness industry grew 12.8% in the last two years, from a $3.7 trillion market in 2015 to $4.2 trillion in 2017. The report says that wellness remains one of the world's biggest and fast-growing industries.
From 2015-2017, the wellness economy increased 6.4% annually, nearly twice as fast as global economic growth .
Wellness expenditures are now more than half as large as total global health expenditures .
The wellness industry now represents 5.3% of global economic output.

UNWTO latest barometer says international arrivals grew by 6% during first six months of this year

According to the UNWTO's latest barometer, international tourist arrivals grew by 6 percent in the first six months of this year after a record year of growth last year.
All regions throughout the world enjoyed a robust growth in tourist arrivals in the period from January-June 2018, compared to the same period last year. The increase was fuelled by strong demand from major source markets, supported by an upswing in the global economy. It comes after record year-round growth of 7 percent last year.
