Jamaican tourism to celebrate Tourism Awareness Week

The Jamaican Ministry of Tourism will celebrate Tourism Awareness Week from 23 to 30 of this month, under the theme ‘Tourism and the Digital Transformation'.
This year's observance will include World Tourism Day, which is being observed on September 27.
The week will commence with a thanksgiving service at Calvary Baptist Church in Montego Bay, St. James, on Sunday, September 23, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Throughout the tourism week, the Ministry will make use of the print and electronic media to highlight its work in promoting the sector's development.

For this year's World Tourism Day observations, the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities and Uganda Tourism Board have organized the World Tourism Day 2018 celebrations activities in Jinja at Jinja Rugby Grounds above the Golf Course on the 27th September 2018 under the theme “Tourism and Digital Transformation”.

Middlesex University Dubai announces celebration of World Tourism Day

Middlesex University Dubai has announced the celebration of the World Tourism Day on Thursday 27 September this year. The day will include an expert panel discussion and a virtual reality exhibition highlighting the digitization of the tourism industry in the UAE.
