One day tours get famous among overseas medical tourists

One-day tours for international visitors arranged by the Korea Tourism Organization or KTO have proven to be quite popular in terms of international visitors to Korea whose main reason of visit is for medical treatment.
Yesterday the KTO announced that 92 percent of the participants at the program said that they were quite happy with the tours.
Participants gave the program a grade of 4.6 out of 5 points. After it started off on May 8, organizers have witnessed a total of 314 overseas patients and their companions take part in the program till now.
Patients from northern Eurasia with their significant others had a particularly high participation rate, with those from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan accounting for 83 percent of all participants.
Of the program participants, 46 percent got treatment from a medical facility in Seoul.
