'Guilty until proven innocent': Trump compares global pushback against Saudi Arabia over Jamal Khashoggi's disappearance to Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings

US President Donald Trump compared mounting criticism over Saudi Arabia's handling of the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi to allegations of sexual assault leveled against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearings.
Of the pushback against Saudi Arabia, Trump told the Associated Press: "Here we go again with, you know, you're guilty until proven innocent. I don't like that."
Trump said he hopes the Saudis' own investigation of Khashoggi's disappearance will be concluded in “less than a week.”
